A COMMON FRAMEWORK FOR K-12 CONTENT STANDARDS
Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL) provides
a useful compilation of content
standards for K-12 curriculum in both searchable and browsable formats.
The purpose of the McREL standards project is to "address the major
issues surrounding content standards, provide a model for their identification,
and apply this model in order to identify standards and benchmarks in
the subject areas."
